YOUR VOTE IS POWERFUL!

As the fastest growing population and electorate, now is the best time for AAPIs to lead and improve economic conditions for all.

Asian American and Pacific Islanders can make affordability, housing, healthcare, and overall quality of life a priority when we turn out to vote as a force!
‍
Billionaires and corporations are pouring millions of dollars into elections for outcomes that increase their profits by keeping decision-making power in the hands of the wealthy few.

When we don't vote, others decide for us and we pay the price: higher costs of living, fewer jobs, polluted environments, and restrictions on voting.

MAKE A PLAN: VOTE EARLY!

We have the power to elect leaders and initiatives that keep us safe, housed, and resourced to survive and thrive.

Voting is how workers, youth, and refugee immigrants speak out and shape a government that works for us!

HOW TO VOTE

REGISTER TO VOTE

New, eligible voters: Apply to register to vote online. Check out Voter Resources below for links to register and check your voter registration status.

Re-register to vote if you've recently moved and changed addresses, changed your name, or political party.
‍
Pre-Register to vote: California youth, ages 16 and 17 years old, who meet the qualifications to vote, can pre-register to vote so when they turn 18 years old, they are automatically registered to vote.

VOTE EARLY!

Voting begins as soon as vote-by-mail ballots are received in the mail.
‍
With the persistent authoritarian attacks on voter rights, USPS, and the integrity of safe and secure elections, we strongly advise to make a plan to vote early and track your ballot to ensure it's counted!

VOTE BY MAIL
and make sure it's postmarked by or before October 27th-- at least one week before Election Day. Voters in rural regions, please check local county deadlines as processing times can take much longer.

DROP OFF YOUR BALLOTS at secure ballot drop off locations, vote centers, polling locations, or at your local County Elections Office.

VOTE IN PERSON at the polls or at vote centers, many of which open on Saturday, October 24th.
The California Voters Choice Act makes same day registration available at any voting center and polling locations.

VOTE ON ELECTION DAY

Tuesday, November 3rd is the last day to vote in-person or return a ballot by 8:00 p.m.
Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Review the California Voters Bill of Rights to ensure you have what you need to vote freely and safely.

- If you are in line before polls close at 8 p.m., stay in line until you cast your vote.
- You have a right to vote, if you are a registered voter, even if your name isn't on the list.
